Super Seeder – 6 Machines. 1 Powerful Solution
Performs the work of six different machines in a single, efficient operation.
Overview
Green Land Engineers built Pakistan's first Super Seeder at its Daska factory. One machine does the work of six — disc harrow, rotavator, planker, wheat sowing, fertilizer placement and mixing seed into the soil — in a single pass. Farmers save days and no longer need to burn straw.
How it works
- A rotor fitted with blades chops paddy straw and mixes it into the topsoil.
- Coulter discs cut through the remaining residue and open the seed slot.
- Seed is placed in rows at a consistent depth.
- A roller presses the soil for good seed-to-soil contact.
Benefits for farmers
- Single pass sowing and residue management
- No need to burn paddy straw
- Saves fuel, time and labour costs
- Improves soil organic matter and moisture retention
Frequently asked questions
What is a Super Seeder?
A Super Seeder is a tractor-driven machine that sows wheat in a single pass after the rice harvest, mixing the standing paddy straw into the soil instead of removing or burning it.
Who made the first Super Seeder in Pakistan?
Pakistan's first Super Seeder was designed and manufactured by Green Land Engineers in Daska, Punjab.
Can a Super Seeder sow wheat without burning rice straw?
Yes. The Super Seeder incorporates the straw into the soil, so there is no need to burn it — and soil organic matter improves over time.
